New to goggles, having moisture issues..

Anybody have a website with more info on Nofogs? I googled it.. but got a bunch of anti-pollution sites.

I think you can get them at Dennis Kirk. Manufacturers usually sell their logo'd brand of them. I have 2 Arctic Cat and 1 Yamaha No FOg mask

I just bought a pair of 509s from this 4M and they are excellent. If the goggle is too big it will not let the air circulate inside the goggle as the top air vents become blocked by the moto X helmet. Quick straps are a must have on moto Xs.

You can reduce fogging if you pull the goggle from your face to let the hot air out while riding. I also use simple dish washing soap to coat the inside of the goggle--it will turn the fog into small droplets which will evaporate during the ride. It also helps when you get snow inside the goggle to prevent freezing.

Ive had problems with a foggy mask my whole life playing hockey, skiing and sledding. Problem is keeping the temp of the inside goggle the same as that it is outside. If your constanly fogging up ur moving to slow, breahing too heavy don't have enough or large enough vents and sweating. Look at your googles and check out the vents, if need be make ur own, starting with a hot pin making your way up to a nail size holes this works great and for free.

You mentioned that you were using the Smith Warp goggle. I'm just about ready to give up on these goggles. In combination with the Klim F4 helmet, I have tried them with and without both the Smith deflector and the Klim deflector and haven't yet found a combination that works. I seriously thought about tossing them off the side of the mountain yesterday as I had to make it 10 miles back to the parking lot in whiteout conditions with no goggles. Mine were absolutely useless. Never again will I go without a spare.

Anyone else had any luck with the Warps?

you fog after stuck because you are wroking hard, and sweating.

almost all goggle fog is caused by sweat.

arid xtra dry smeared over your face under the goggle when you start in the morning works all day.

more important the fatter you are, adn it is VERY important to me.

Appreciate all the info so far. With the way the weather looks Attm, im thinking im just going to have to wing it and fuss with them once i get out there...
Since it makes sense to have a spare pair whats a good second color to have? Ive already got yellow tinted warps...Should i just get another yellow pair ?
In the one trail ride i got w/a borrowed pair that was also yellow tinted we rode in sunny skis and near blizzard conditions and i could see pretty well in both.
Hmmm id like to keep one style if possible, but i dont guess that should be top priority. there are some nice prices from some on ebay right now...

The turbofan goggles fog the least of anything out there. I used to pack 3-4 pairs of goggles on a ride and now I just use 1 and have an extra pair in my pack with a different colour lens for unforeseen problems. Also helps to wipe the inside with a no-fog cloth.

Would like more info on people's experience with these turbo fan goggles. When the powder is windshield deep or you're carving, jumping, etc in deep powder...icing inside the lense can be a problem. I don't know if its a combonation of the foam getting damp and them moisture freezes on the inside of the mask or what, but ice forms on the inside.

Agree..... never had a problem from breathe fogging on a normal ride, but when the snow is dep and your helmet is caked with snow........I get bad icing on them. Only solution I've found is swapping pairs of goggles out.

I agree. Have used them for mucho years both snow skiing and snowmobiling. the problem I find is as you described and the turbo fan exits close to the upper rim of the helmet which blocks the flow. I think I saw some newer onest that didn't have the fan fully facing up. If so that might work better.

I've also had small snow paticles enter through the vents and I end up with a small pile of snow inside along the bottom of the lenses.

I just got some Scoot 89xi turbos (not electric) and they have vents facing forward at the top and have really helped since the venting portion of the goggle isn't blocked by my helmet.

My $.02

I went to the no-fog website.. checked the list of where they say to get them.. nobody has them in stock :(

Heh thanks... but:

Online ordering is only available within the USA

I actually posted a link above that has one cheaper that the link you posted.. will shipp to Canada.. I was actually hoping to find the Hi performance one with the full neck dickie built in... ohhhhh welll I could put this under my choko one... but that could get really warm heh

I ordered a No FOg from http://www.preferredpowersports.com yesterday.. they called me today saying hte No-Fog branded one was discontinued :( But they still had the Polaris one.. so I swiched my order to that one.. twas a couple more $$ for the Polaris one... but it's a No-Fog brand without the their branding

picked up another pair of goggles tonight off ebay, that will come w/their own snowmask... These are warp stars with red/rose tinted lense...
I think unless its really cold when we get out there im going to try and run w/out the hjc deflector hopefully itll be better...
Also what is the dislike w/the full face helmets? Is it because of airflow and visibility? Like i previously stated its all I had from always trail riding here, but i didnt find it too big of a hassel?? Just cuiours...Thanks for the info...
