give me a call.

Anybody that wants to ride can give me a yell. Just shoot me a message and i will give you my number.

Even you P-money.... lets go get some beers! PBR is calling my name!

yea I always take my banjo with me!!!!!! if i could ever figure out how to keep my sled from kissing trees i will be doing ok!

Hay P Money, you will have to give my sled a ride this year! It is crazy, now if i kiss a tree its not going to be good!!!!!!!!!!!

Nothing like enjoying some banjo on the way up the hill, gets me goin every time!
Dude I planned on giving your sled a pull before you told me you were turbing it!

I'd like to throw a lil BBQ together at my place for riders to meet up, tell some lies and throw back a couple!! I just upgraded to Captain so my schedule is ****, as soon as I can find some time to make it happen I'll post it up!

1 more days drive outta aurora.

Tdbaugha- give me a little more credit, not like I've never seen powder before lol. That said I'm sure that sled should keep me more than happy, and allow some growing room as i get better.

Haha no worries man. I'm just saying even though the UP has pretty good powder it's nothing compared to the mountains. You'll never want to go back haha

I am down in the springs and try to get out 3-4x a month. The snow show is a great place to meet other riders as well.

I think a pre season bbq should happen as well

Been pondering starting a meetup group over at meetup.com also

Moving to Pueblo CO soon

how far will I be needing to drive from Pueblo to go sleddin? Looks to be some pretty big mtns outside of colorado springs. I ride a 2010 M8 162" that should have an SLP setup before the season starts. Most of my riding is done in WA and OR and had an awesome trip in WY this last winter. Got clutching setups to ride from 5k to 10k elev. I already get myself into enough trouble so I don't really think I need to strap a turbo on it. Unless the snow is constantly 2+ feet of dry stuff, maybe I do need one? Been riding since I was a little guy on the yamaha snowsport :) Got the beacon, backpack, probe, spare gas cans, etc. soon to have an avy backpack. I'll definately be wanting to get a hold of some of you when I get over there.

sunny day for your viewing pleasure:

It all depends on where you go. You can get down to Wolf Creek in about 3 hrs, or up to Rabbit ears in about 4.5hrs. Crested butte is also about 3 hrs. Those are prob the best with in a close range. Buena vista is 2 hours and vail is 3 hours, but I don't think they compare with the others I listed. Grand mesa is a blast, but quite the treck at 5-6 hrs. Hit me up once the snow starts to fly...

I'll second the Wold Creek...

Why would anyone want to move to Pueblo though?

WFOWA - Agree with everything that was said about Wolf Creek and other places. I live in Monument just north of the Springs and we sled Wolf Creek or Rabbit Ears...almost an even split at 4 hours to each for me. Either way, we try to pull two day weekends to make it worth it:) You can always through in with us in Pueblo or come up to Monument if we are heading north for the weekend!! We try to cram as many people into the truck and trailer as they'll fit cause we are cheap!

got a good job with a good company in Pueblo. Should last 10 years or so if all goes well. Thanks for the information guys. Looking forward to meeting you all. Should have three day weekends constantly so the 3-4 hour drives won't bother me too much.

good mechanic near pueblo?

I still need to get my sled fixed. It had a piston or cylinder failure on the last ride out. Severe power loss as i was climbing, then it died, pulled the plugs, aluminum shavings on the clutch side plugs. Dropped oil in the cylinder and pull started it over 200 times until it finally got goin again. Seemed like it had full power but I definately wasn't tryin to push it. kept it running all the way back to the truck and haven't tried starting it since. As I don't have the adequate knowledge or tools on how to rebuild a motor on my own, I'd like to take it to someone in the area who does. Where should I go? I'd like to save money but quality of work is by far much more important.
Thanks in advance.

I'm riding a long track 136 this year and am concerned about getting stuck in the deep stuff. It's not a turbo either. Should I be losing sleep over this? I'm also worried no one will want to ride with me. Please advise...

The place to go in Pueblo is Tote-Gote, he knows engines and has a full machine shop below his store, most of the dealers look to him for their "hard work" Don't let the front of the store fool you, quality work at good prices.

Depends on what you wanna ride? If you stay close to trails on the deep days and play off of them a little your fine. Or in late spring with a good snowpack underneath you'll be able to go further, but I'm not going to sugar coat it a 136 will struggle a lil in the backcountry on the deep days. Does it have a deep lug track? Is it an 800? I have a buddy that rides a 144 anywhere and everywhere, but it's turboed with 2.5" lugs... There are lots of folks that mostly trail ride and play off trail a little that ride Vail pass and Grand Lake, but on a deep day I'd be a lil hesitant for you to dive off in the backcountry for the day. The powder out here can be super dry and light making it harder to get traction as it doesn't set up overnight. Only way to find out is come on out and give it a try and go from there, if the terrain and your abilities exceed your sled than start saving, if you find you like the just slightly off trail style of riding than your good to go! There is all kinds of terrain out here so don't worry, you'll find some place to have fun!
