New to California (Chico)

I am new to California and wondering how the riding is around here and how many people are into it around here(CHICO)? I can go almost any weekend and willing to travel a little bit to chase snow. I went up by Shasta a couple years ago on a trip and really enjoyed it but now am living in Chico for a couple years and want to meet some fellow snowmobilers.

You need to get on this site - www.westcoastsledders.com and register(free). Lots of folks on this site are from the Sacto/Chico and surrounding areas. Tons of places to ride from Shasta clear down to Tahoe and further south. Something for everyone.

There's great riding only a half hour away but you have to have a local help you find it, there is a large group of riders in the area and were always looking for new people to add to are group

As desertdoo said there is a large community that rides in this area. Take a look at www.hillsliders.com. They are a great group of people in Butte Meadows only 30-45 min. up hwy 32. Hopefully we will have a steady year unlike the past couple.
