New Sled

Going to buy a new sled i have a 2005 RMK 800 with a 144" track. I am looking at a 2008 RMK Dragon 700 163" or a 2009 Assault. Just wondering what everyone thinks. I have heard that going from an 800 to a 700 you won't be happy with the change in power. I am wondering if going from a 144 to a 163 will make up for the difference in going from an 800 to a 700. Let me know what you guys think.

I think the 08 700 might surprise you..they run very very good..you could always add an slp single right away if you are worried about power..as for the assault it is a great sled if it fits your riding style...in deep powder it wants to trench so you need to either install the polaris powder track made for it(or aftermarket track) or you must adjust your riding style(I have 2 friends with them and they just ride alot faster momentum wise in deep snow and they have no problems getting around with us....
