Hey everyone,

So I am officially spreading the word about the best Dirt Bike / UTV / ATV / SNOWMOBILE shop in the Wasatch front. They are located in Woodscross on redwood road. This shop has been maintaining my MX bike and my kids bikes. They also are know as Division Racing suspensions. Their Suspension systems are hands down the best I have ever ridden. That is why I am now trusting them with my sled suspension. They are re-valving and re-building my Walker Evens shocks to make them perfect for the 14/15 season. These guys know their motors and there shocks and all the little tiny thing in between on ALL OHV's. The biggest thing they are offering you is TURN AROUND. Want your sled in 2 weeks or better? Or would you rather wait for the DEALER to take 4 weeks+ to get it back to you? Jesse is a top tier mechanic and owner of the DIRT LAB. He has a long list of qualifications including being the Super Cross mechanic for TEAM SOLITAIRE RACING. Here is a great wright up about him from
RACERX MAG.

They are priced better, They are faster, and they will take care of you a lot better than the dealerships.

Can they rebuild snowmobile engines or just motor cycle? I could not find where it mentioned sleds at all on their web site.

Never mind, I stopped by. They want $180 a shock to re-valve.

That is for MX. Sled shocks are
Service + Revalve is $70.00. (per Shock)
Basic service/refresh oil change is $55.00. ( per shock.)

Here is why you should refresh your shocks. These are off an XM, from a sled that isn't ridden really hard.

Jessie was the one that told me $180 a shock and I was very clear that it was on a snowmobile.
The prices above are allot better. Thanks for the clarification.

Not a bad deal. Division Racing Suspensions is priced around the same as Zbroz, Holtz, and Elka. So 6 questions you have to ask your self.

1. What are his credentials, certifications or qualifications? Valving is very tough to do right. Do you want average Joe doing your shocks or a highly trained mechanic who graduated from and was an instructor for MMI? Someone who set up Suspensions for Professional, Supercross and motocross racers. Average Joe has never done that. Because it takes awesome talent, skill, and passion to be at that level. Remember the Dirt Lab/Division racing suspensions specialize in shock rebuilds, valving and repair. I am not saying the other guy isn't good at it. I have never heard of him, seen his work or used his set ups. Doesn't mean he doesn't do a good job though.

2. Is he an authorized WE, Fox, KYB, exe. Mechanic/Dealer? I know The Dirt Lab is an authorized WE dealer.

3. Are you willing to pull all your shocks off, your skid out and apart? Then ship them to another state to play a guessing game? (extra cost) (down time) (can get damaged or lost in shipping)

4. What type of oil and internal parts does he use? High quality or off brands? (Have to keep you costs down some how.)

5. Do you want to support a local Utah company or an out of state company?

6. Why is he so much less than all the top companies?

I have had a lot of people do shocks and set up suspensions for me. Race Tech, MBR1, Works Connection, Pro Action, and DeVol. Out of all those companies with all of their special kits and valves they use. Jesse's setups are way better and spot on. That and if you need adjustments he is in Utah. So if you need an adjustment or the valving isn't working for you, you just take your sled to him. You don't have to pull your sled apart, ship your shocks back to someone, have them re-try, ship them back to you and hope they got it right this time. I am not saying this because he is a sponsor. I am saying all of this because before he was my sponsor I was a customer who paid to have my shocks done. After that I was convinced, just like so many other people who ride dirt bikes in Utah and AZ and have his suspension set ups. The best thing about The Dirt Lab to is they do it all and they are really good at what they do. Check them out. They offer a lot, They are good mechanics, they are fast mechanics, and they are worth the trip.

Kinda weird that i stumbled across this post... as i just got home from spending the last 3 days riding a 450 that was setup by the dirtlab a few days ago. I've been doing this desert racing thing for 3 years now and this dirtlab suspension ju st catapulted my confindeace and riding abilities to another level this weekend. We worked with the BLM on saturday marking the san rafael swell red trail. We also rode a little of 5 miles of hell, got dark and had to turn back, rode dukinky today and cherry creek 2 days ago. I was absolutely ecstatic at how well this valving works in all terrains and speeds, this is the 3rd setup ive had on this bike and all my suspension needs will be handled by the dirtlab.

Regards,

Happy Customer
