I picked this up on Sunday to replace my 06 LBZ, I'm loving it already! I've already got fender flares and some nice mudflaps for it, but wheels/tires are next.

As a bonus, it has a Titan 67gal tank that the dealership or I didn't even notice! ROAD TRIP! I'm really looking forward to the long box with the sled deck. The tailgate step will make it a heck of a lot better for a short guy like me to get up on the deck to fuel the sleds.

Nice truck!

Please tell me the Titan tank was noticed when the dealership said "let us run this across the street for you and get you a full tank as a thank you". :face-icon-small-coo

I guess I don't understand these comments.

Out west, we have rest stops with no fuel stations. It is also nice to have enough fuel that you aren't having to drag your trailer into every pump stop every time you have to pee.
I have had a Titan tank in my last 2 trucks. Once u have it u won't be able to go with out it. We just stop at a rest stop or even the off ramp. We run at night most of the time and a guy doesn't have to worry as much about getting fuel in small towns.

nice truck! they are nice arent they?!

+3 on the titan tank. they are the best. all of my trucks will have them from now on. THey need to get on the new ford long bed tanks.

+4 on the titan tank. I have a short box and for the life of me why the factory only put in a 26 g tank on a truck made for towing is beyond me.

That's the truth! I've had some real close calls with my LBZ, 24 gallons is a joke! I usually carry 5 gallons under the deck, just in case. If the interstate gets closed or there's an accident, there's no telling how long you could be there.

Last night I started on the painted to match Bushwacker flare install, only to found out they shipped me 2 left front flares. Arrrrgggg. :face-icon-small-con

Man, 67 gallons, wow! 470 pounds. :face-icon-small-hap
Congrats on the new truck, she is a beauty!

They filled the truck up before I picked it up, nobody said a word.... I didn't realize it until I was on my way home and the distance to empty didn't make much sense. Oh and the $199.50 fill up.... LOL

What did the miles to empty say?
Does it also say funny things with the mileage?

It all depends on what and where the computer takes its readings.

Getting 10mpg towing, it was showing 650 miles to empty. Makes sense at 65 gallons, but not if it had a 37 gallon stock tank.

on my titan tank when it shows empty on the gauge i have 8 gallons left of the 50. when miles to empty read zero i have 4 gallons left. havent had the balls to go any lower than that.

the dealer installed it. the way the tank is built it sits lower at the bottom and the float is past the mechanical limits.
