New Skidoo Highrise Seat

Went to pick up the 08 163X and they guy behind the counter says "You got to see this". He then brings out this seat and says come over and sit on this. I sat on it and wow this is cool. It is a 2" highrise from skidoo. He said they just got them in on Friday. After sitting on it I had to have one for my 09 163X because I had the 10" riser put on and now 2 inches more on the seat will make a perfect setup. I love the feel of the sled sitting in the garage. Now just have to get out on it tommorow.
The second pic is of the original and new seats.
The forth is of the new seat on the sled.
The rest are just pics of the sledand the vortech rack with gas can and skidoo bag installed to it

Thanks for the info & pics 740himrk. Any chance you could post the part# and price? Oh, and next time you are at your dealer do you think you could ask them if it is available in a yellow/black version as well?

I got the seat up at Steel Dreams (lifestyle RV), The part number on the receipt is 510005205 and the cost was 349.99.
I know I showed it to a buddy of mine and that was the first thing he said was "Do they make it with the yellow stripe on it?"
The phone number up there is 360-416-3950.

They should come factory like that. Still no storage? Price would have to be right as there are so many choices on seats.

You are right they should come that way. But at 350 and a perfect factory looking seat they look a lot better to me than the BOSS even though they still don't have any storage. But you still have the windsheild bag the handlebar bag, the tunnel bag and with the new seat they also came out with a bag that goes in front of seat between the seat and the gas cap the fits pretty nice. I had to have that also

Thanks 740himrk! One last question, in your opinion how is the foam on the new seat... more firm/same/or softer than your original seat?

The foam in the seat is a lot firmer and you sit right on top of it. Makes it feel 3 inches higher bacause you really don't sink down into the seat at all.

Rode on it today and love the seat. With the 10" riser, the higher seat made a big difference in the feel of the sled.

So far 250 miles on the same belt and love the sled. I still have an 08 163 and picked it up from the dealer yesterday and now the starter button went out on it today and had to pull start it. Hopefully it was just some water or ice in it that stopped it from working. It is the wifes sled and the electric start on it makes all the difference in a day for me!

Reeb where are you getting $314.98?? My dealer says the BRP list on this is $419.99 which makes more sense to me if they are $349 USD.
