What's the most HP you can get with pump gas...91 octane and still be safe?

Heres a picture of my 08 SHR Summit 860R 373 Dry.

Pools closed for the year. I knew I would be getting the how's, the weights are with a scale except for the machine which I used the published dry weight. Don't know what it weighs wet. I can't get the thing to post any clearer, sorry.

373? I don't believe it:rolleyes: Stock seat, spindles, a-arms, bodywork and it's 373? Are you an Artic Cat rider:eek: LOL. Mines going on the scale soon and i'm hoping for 490 weight. What's that dry? Who cares! At least you have the right motor in there:beer;

I don't want to rain on your 373 pound parade but as I read it you removed the recoil and installed electric start. According to you own chart it actually weighs 394.

OK now that the precipitation has stopped on you celebratory procession, that is a pretty good weight savings.

its 394 sitting there WITH e-start...remove that and add recoil its 373... when you can still ride well at the age of 65 call me...you will have e-start too..LOL-BJ

Knock it off with the high compression cheater heads and you won't have to have all your customers sign that rotator cuff surgery liability form with every motor. BTW, my name is Alan, I'm 36, and I have electric start.:D:cool:;)

The reason for the dry weight is I can't weigh a whole sled on my fish scale, LOL, the other weights are pretty close though, The only reason I posted the weights was for a referance, to many guys guess at these things, like all the foam removed, weighed 8 OZ thats dry weight.

I see what you are getting at with the weight, I was just being a bit thick yesterday.

I'm 43 and already want electric start!!!! I must be a cheap bastage, $500 seems like a lot for electric start.

Impressive weights....one bit of controversy there is the accounting for oil and oil tank weight. You started with a dry wt (no gas, H20, oil) and then subtracted 10 lb for the oil/oil tank/hose.

My next sled will probably have e-start. Wifes sled has e-start...nice. My RT does not have e-start.....pulling it over is a chore that is repeated 20-25 times in a day. At the end of the day....pulling it over gets a bit tiresome. The trade off advantage of ~25 lbs vs sore/tired shoulder is catching up to me.
