The frames are abs plastic, we dont do aluminum any more they seem to bend out of shape when you roll or hit anything. You can bend them back but they never look the same. The abs is flexable and very strong.
The mesh we use is a platic coated fiber mesh that is almost indestrctible with a second layer of prefilter on all clutch side vents.
