Hope everybody had a great summer. We have been busy designing and patenting products. Shoot us some feedback on a couple of our new prototype products.
Thanks

Love the hood idea! Im shocked polaris couldnt figure something like this out.
If it is somewhat easy to open, while still fitting nice and tight like a stock hood would (not that the hoods and side panels have ever fit perfect together) I think everyone would be silly to not want to purchase this add-on if its priced right.
As far as the bumper... not loving the visual aspect of it, I like the idea and the strength it looks to have but visiually im not digging it!
Props to you though on making stuff different and inventing helpful products
If your in Jackson I might have to drive over and check that hood out in person. I think the bumper is going to be too much, causing the damage to go to other places on the sled.
Let's be nice now about the bumper. You need something solid to pull them out of the woods with...lol I really like the hood idea wish I would have stopped out and seen it. I was just there with the family for 10 days
Hood is a good idea depending on price and weight. Bumper is a miss, too raw. It needs better flow and the upper bumper makes the sled look like it has lips.
I have been complaining about the lack of access under the hood since I got my machine, and most of the people said there was no need to access under there, or it only takes a few seconds to remove the hood with tools. I like where you are going with this idea. The bumper however needs to go back to the drawing board.
Thanks to everybody for your comments and thoughts. Please keep in mind that I built a working prototype out of what I had floating around. Functional but not pretty. No. The bumper is not currently pretty however with the finished product it will be a little more appealing yet offer lots of protection. I will post some pics of a finished product. From the comments I may have been a little premature in releasing pics. As far as the hood system goes. If I remember one question was what all we replace. We suggest replacing the two torx screws with our pin system that will be part of the kit, as well as replacing the push darts with the provided half turns. Then simply install the hinge kit and clamp it to the over structure. Stock hood with a few different attachments. The kit allows for the hood to hinge up easily. As far as it flying off in a roll over less likely than with a stock set up. This kit actually forces the hood back for a tighter fit so the front does not unlatch. I will post a short video as soon as I get my hood back from our fabricator. No mods are done to the hood. 4 3/16 holes will need to be drilled for attachment. And of course removal of the push darts.
I will update with more pics or video soon. I look forward to you questions and comments. As soon as we clean up the curves on the bumper I will try this again.
Thanks

I will get more pics up by Monday. I am waiting on some parts for the production units so the next pics and video will show all of the components and how it works. Thanks for all the comments. I will keep everybody posted on timing and pricing.
