new primary clutch options

hey I blew up the stock primary on my 04 900, and am told that the stockers have to be replaced every couple of years or so. Is there a better primary that can be purchased (stronger more durable)? Or am I looking for an 05 up stock six tower primary?

Don't know who told you that! A little maintenance goes a long way! Mine is the same clutch from 03.

anybody know anything about comet clutches??

Comet does make a 108 that will fit the 900 crank. It's about 650 up here in Canada. I found it on Recreational Supply out of Saskatoon.
