So I got some realy cool stuff outa Canada. I get a phone call from UPS they tell me that they will need 233.72 for a brokerage fee and then i say well thats bs but I want my stuff so whatever my stuff shows up next day it is what it was suppose to be I am pissed but happy to have my stuff. 2 weeks later I get my credit card statement And Mastercard charged me 173.12 for a foreign Transaction fee Are you fking kidding me. Did I say all my parts are very cool

The next time you buy something for US or Canada. Get the store to not write the store name on the box, just the sales mens name and store address and your name etc.. and to mail the the bill separate. You wont get screwd around with duty and the rest of the bs

Theres was a store that had a real good deal on Klim gear, so i phoned told them what size i wanted,gave my Visa and once i got to my address they could not sell to me because im Canadian. That was Klims rule not the store. I had to use my Buddy's address in the US and him forward it to me. There can be ALOT of bull**** with buying across the border.

I only ship USPS across the boarder to guys as the brokerage is crazy if you don't. Still lots of hoops to jump through and you have to make sure all your I's and T's are crossed

Dont use UPS when doing cross boarder shipping either direction. They are the absolute worst for raping customers with fees.

I have had good luck with USPS no random fees

ups just charged me 275 for boarder fee's for a clutch. and they left my $1800 garret turbo on my deck in the rain for i dont know how long

UPS is the biggest fricking joke company I have ever had the misfortune of dealing with. I will not UPS for anything...EVER. I have bought things in the US from different companies and if they insist on using UPS I cancel the deal. I refuse to use them. USPS has been good so far.

USPS all the way. shipped and recieved lots of parts. never had a problem, and very minimal charges.

We get gouged by UPS every time we get something from the states, even personal. I got my wife some golf clubs for $150 and UPS made her give them $46 before they would hand them over and the freight charges were prepaid. GST was 7 or 8 bucks, fair enough, then there was their "brokerage fee" and some other handling or admin fee. What a bunch of crooks. Some companies won't ship USPS and will only ship UPS, something about tracking. UPS seems like a bunch of bandits but we are at their mercy.

USPS is the only way. Never had a problem, minimal charges. UPS on the other hand is a total rip off. Way to costly with high $$$ for duty.

l bought a mesh hood from diamond and by the time it reached me in the Yukon it was a 850 dollar hood...yikes...the boss seat only was 45.00 frieght ,but the seat came post and the mesh hold could only come truck...hood only 6lbs...oh well..TRUCKERS GOTTA EAT,,,,

I called my cc company today and told them how gaaaaayyyyyyyy the 3% charge was they said the would reverse it
