Hey Y'all,
Hmmm, How to introduce myself? Ok Who am I? Michael from Hillsboro/Washington NH. I was in former lives a Senior Master Ford Technician, A Firearms Shop Owner, and Now..... A School Bus driver CDL B, Pass, Air brake, School bus certificates No restrictions.
How did I get here, Well that is a long story. I traded for a 2005 Switchback 900 with a 144 inch track last year only to have no snow where I live. So this year when I finally got out I found a couple of concerns with the sled. The obligatory heat issue and a check engine light. the check engine light was easy, The heat issue caused an extnsive online search for a resolution. it seems that every road led to here. so while pokin' around i found that there is a HUGE contigent of 900 Liberty owners/fans on the site so I joined and almost immediatly went premium. so Here I am. (that being said I will in advance thank MountainHorse, 94FordGuy, IndyDan, CompFusion all of whom I have seen reliability posts from as well as talking to Indy and Comp!)
So I do have to say that as of now my season is cut short due to the other concern that seems to plague all 900 owners eventually, My chaincase is leaking and at this point I need time to Mod, Retool and repair the issues caused by both the design shortfalls and the previous owners lack of research.
What do I ride? Well I am a Polaris guy but will take the occasional Cat but for now I have what I have been looking for as soon as I sort out the issues. 2005 Switchback 900, SLP intake, Vforce reeds, Vented all over, 144" Cobra track, will soon be sorting out the clutch, Gears and cooling system. Looking forward to making this sled ROCK my area.
