New KTM 300 SX is going to be a great snow bike

2 stroke plus a riot = big grins. My purpose built home made junk is keeping me plenty happy at the moment but if I ever go back to conversion kits, the only new bike or kit I would probably buy is a 300sx and a riot.

Fun seeing all the 300 posts. The newer 2023+ TBI bikes are phenomenal if you get them setup correctly for snowbiking. Not much is really needed compared to 4T bikes. This will be my third season on a 2023 KTM 300 SX. It’s a blast to ride, and somedays my 2024 KTM 450 XCF sits in the shop while my 300SX is getting exercised lol. The place where the bike really shines is right technical woods and snow that’s setup a bit up to about 2’. Anything more than that the 450 is my go to platform. Both bikes were upgraded this season with the new 24 Timbersled Riot 3 Pro (Gen 2). Ironically both the 450 and 300 are within 4 lbs of each other but the 300 feels 40 lbs lighter in the woods.

TSP MX map tunes with a few minor tweaks, TSP medium comp head, FMF Factory pipe and silencer, XRT Engineered tunnel cooler, 131F tstat, engine blanket, and a few other things.

One of my favorite bike builds of seven bikes I have built in the last seven years including a BRC 500.
