Hi all

Names Don, have a wife and two boys ages 13 and 10. Finally started snowmobiling 3 years ago. Picked up '91 and '92 phazers, which I still thing are a blast to ride. Last year we snagged a 97 ski doo summit 500 from a neighbor which introduced me to real snow snowmobiling :)

Since there are four of us I've convinced the wife we need a fourth snowmobile and it should be new (don't ask me how I convinced her of that :face-icon-small-coo ) Pretty certain I'll be buying it this weekend and think I've settled on the new Ski Doo 154 over the Poo

Anyway we ride mostly manastash area near Ellensburg since we have a cabin up there my grandpa built. Hoping to trailer and go to some other places this year too.

Joined the other day looking for some opinions between the two sleds, didn't even realize this was such a local forum until the next day lol.

Hope to see some of you out in the snow...which can't get here soon enough!

Welcome. I live in the same area. Started sledding 2 seasons ago as a way to get into the backcountry and ski and snow board. and it has basically taken over the winter for me. Haven't even skied much at all...

Funny how it does that huh, I have progressively become more and more obsessed with snowmobiling since we got them. When we first got them I would have laughed at the suggestion I'd be willing to spend that kind of money on a new sled. Now I can hardly concentrate on work and curse the temperature gauge in my jeep every day knowing it's too warm for snow in the mountains! :face-icon-small-ton
