Bottom line, a nice goggle (LIke i originally said.) But with no nose piece they are not adequate for Western Deep Powder Mountain Riding IMHO.

Glad to see 509 re-designed the 09's for the needed nosepiece, but leaves us with the 08's holding the bag.

Yep, they doo, and even with both, these goggles are cold, Period.

hmmmmm. I didn't think mine were cold at all. Everybody's different though I guess.

How about some quick straps for last years goggle? I sure could use some.

The goggles are very nice.. Well built. And a great price.

I scratched my lenses on the sunglasses also, so I will need to order a new pair as soon as I find out what style they are.

Will my 08 lenses fit in the 09 frames?

To answer my own dumbazz question.....

[Q] Do the 09 goggles use the same lens as the 08 model?

[A] Yes. Both the 08 & 09 goggles use the same shape lens. So you can use an 08 lens with your 09 goggles or vice versa. We did increase the thickness of the 09 lens and also changed it to a precurved spherical shaped lens. So the 09 lens is superior to the 08, however both are still cross compatible.
