Brought the Silver Dragon home yesterday and spent this morning adding bags and cleaning it up.
In delivered condition.
Warning decals. YUK!
Windshield bag, under seat bag, rack and can installed and all decals removed from tunnel and console. Much cleaner looking now.
I didn't like the fact of removing a phillips head screw for access to the clutches and belt, so I removed the screw, put a self-locking nut and washer on the clutch opening tool and threaded that in. Same thread size. I now have tooless access to the clutches.
One other change was the factory rear bumper was too close to the flap. I could barely get my bare fingers in there. So I removed the reflectors and the forward two bumper bolts, then rotated the bumper. There was already holes in the tunnel under the reflectors. I had to slot them with a rattail file so I could get the forward bolts reinstalled. Much more hand clearance when grabbing the rear bumper now.
I also bought the Polaris rack and gas can. I ended up cutting 1" off of the cross bars so the can fit in the rack without excess slop.
Will take her out on the maiden voyage tomorrow.
