New Boss seats....uhmmmm

Back to you, but not to get it to them. When I unboxed mine the main zipper had a 2-3" section where someone missed with the sewing machine. They were going to send out a new seat at the same time I sent mine back. I decided to wait the season out and see what else I could break. I had my mom sew up that zipper and so far, so good on everything else.

Skinz is coming out with some pretty cool seats, looks like they have a Nytro seat out and they are getting ready to release the M seat. I'm sure they will come up with something for Poo and Doo too.

Mountain mod seat seems ok but the storage is open to the tunnel so you cant put anything in there unless its in a waterproof bag.Needs to be a separate compartment so when the snow melts off the back of tunnel and runs under the seat things stay dry and so anything small like a loose wrench doesnt fall out the gap between the seat and tunnel. Mabye newer ones they make are different, but I too am looking for a new seat.

They make a storage bag that goes under the seat and is removable so you can ditch the weight before a pull or if you don't have an enclosed trailer you can take it off at night and carry it into the house or hotel.

For what model sled ??

Is this the new $400 Boss seat that is the problem? I know that when they make the seat for Cat last year, there were a lot of problems. This $400 seat looks the same.

I got the new Boss seat and havent had any problems with zippers or anything, other than trying to keep track of all the compartments.

Two zippers broken by second ride. The seat also does seem to have some ice and snow buildup issues. I'm thankful I can store my sled in a heated garage every night... it defiantly helps.

I'll be calling Boss for sure.

What wrong with these companies cant make something as simple as a seat that is durable and has dry storage.

I dont have any wet issues at all...the trick is to use some of the black 1/2 dense foam that murray usually sends with the seat and cut it for the floor of the trunk...seals up the small gaps and any water goes thru and down the sides of the tunnel...works slick.
