Blackberry + Snowest = Crap!! I have never had good luck getting onto this site from my Blackberry.

second site I hit after snowest. Had to get my google maps and pandora. More to come tonight I'm sure.

After I connected to my wifi snowest was loading better, but still not like the computer.

Blackberry storm here and last night blackberry issued version 5.0 update. seems to fix all the browser issues and text is like the I phone now and IM and most of the other features are much faster and easier to use.....

Verizon needs to get the Iphone because ATT sucks in most areas. I had a Storm and it shut down twice and I missed important work calls. I'm back to a reliable "dumb" phone that works. I can't remember how many times the Storm locked up. Sorry for this uninformative reply X.

I did the 5.0 upgrade last night on my storm. All i can say is that it is a completely different animal. The thing actually works now. Guess im gonna have to find something else to cuss at.........

yep never locked up once today, battery is still going and its much faster and I used the crap out of it today thrashing everyone that didnt have the update.....lol and the Browser loads the complete page now....it stopped working correctly when the "new SW" came on line....

Gravy you must have more patience than me. It drove me nuts in less than a month. It's good to hear there's finally a fix. What's that thing been out 6 months now? I think I'll give the HTC Droid a shot when it comes out. I hate having a lame do nothing phone. I have to much free time at work to burn.

A great APP I use is POYNT. It has 411 & yellow pages for business and people, mapit, reverse lookup, etc. You can be anywhere and lookup any businesses nearby like restaurants, and it will give you a list and mileages from current location, then you can also map it out. This summer on a road trip, had a trailer tire blow on our 5th at about 5:30pm. Was able to poynt to all nearby tire shops, make a few calls and found a CostCo that had the tire. Got repaired before they closed. Wife said phones were now "worth it" after that brief ordeal. Also used it for a friend to find and map tire shops while on the road.

Same here... just got mine done this morning and it is working WAY better. Hopefully it stays that way.

i tried it on my Curve and you have to pay for it to do texting, but its kinda helpful for making calls and stuff.

worth a try, if not you can always remove it
