Somebody will probably say this is wrong lol. You're decision.
Buy a small diamond file and chamfer your ports (especially if you had some one try to hone without the right stuff). If you don`t know what that is take it to someone that knows nicasil in a 2 stroke.
Then,,,. Likely those lines in the cylinder are just visual (can`t feel them with a scriber-fingernail). What I do is grab a dingle ball hone that is too small, wrap a fresh maroon scotchcloth (3M only) soaked in a cheap two stroke mineral oil around it in the right way for spin and spin slowly (300 rpmish) up and down from both top and bottom.
Your not really putting a cross hatch in it but it look nice lol. I wash out the scotch cloth each time in the solvent tank and resoak in cheap two-stroke oil.
Then find a tub big enough and soak the cylinders in the hottest water you can (my shop hot water tank will burn my skin) and dump it (this preheats the aluminum). Next fill again and add a bit of degreaser detergent. I go to the trouble of using a fine wire brass brush on the nicasil while soaking in this solution. Dump, fill with plain hot water to rinse and I finish under the tap.
Immediately after the rinse I blow dry the bore a bit (most will evaporate) and take big finger fulls of my cheap blue two stroke oil and swipe the nicasil all over until it stops soaking in.
Because I`m anal about these things, I do the whole works again as many times as it takes until my scotchcloth and cheap blue 2stroke oil stay clean. Those piston coatings have good and some bad points too (looking at things microscopically lol) IMO.
I would be putting in new rings after this but probably reuse the pistons (skirt measurements required) but would pay special attention to making sure the rings lands are spotless inside. I use a magnifying glass for this.
