New 2011 Bling for Buck Stage 3 Nytro project

Started this today. Tring to keep this build affordable for the average guy and spend some time making it work with as many stock components as possible. It's getting a stage 3 MCX blower and I will be experimenting with the 16 and 19t turbos as well as the pump 270 h.p. Map and the 330 h.p. race map. Hood is being panted, panels getting wrapped and tunnel is getting polished as we speak. More pics to come.

Sounds like a sweet project. That thing should rip. You didn't happen to weigh it before you took it apart did you? The company propaganda says 17-20 lbs lighter than the 2010, just wondering what that was in real life. Thanks

Didn't get a chance to get it on the scales. I learned years ago to stop weighing them and just ride em thinking they are lighter than they are :face-icon-small-blu.

Sounds like an excellent plan. I doubt the weight matters much with the amount of power you will be producing anyhow. Good Luck with the build and be sure to put up some pics for the rest of us to admire!

Progress

Polishing is done, Waiting for paint on the A arms, Spindles, Hood, bumpers, etc. Starting with the 270 hp mapping and 16t turbo. Going to couple the stock skid and play with air preassure to see how well we can make it handle boost.

Did you polish it yourself? If so, what did you use to do the job. How many hours did it take?

It was done profesionally at a local detail shop. I did the heat shield for the turbo intake by hand and lost interest quickly. I beleive the shop had about 6 hours in to the whole unit and it lasts waaay longer than anything I've done. Well worth the $500-$600 IMO.
