NEVER ride alone, and ALWAYS wear a tether...

That is exactly the reason why one of the first things I do to a new sled is install one if it doesn't already have one.
HOLY CRAP!!!!
He was lucky it wasn't worse

doesnt all skidoo sleds have that DESS key system on them??

it does suck, but to me if u r too stupid to wear it then u have no one to blame but yourself. hopefully the guy learned a valuable lesson and realizes how lucky he really got

Very lucky. Was he wearing any protection other then his jacket?

Not sure, didn't know him personally. Just thought everybody should see how real and easy it is to get injured…

This was the smallest of small jumps just messing around I am sure, something we do thousands of times a year and take for granted.

I feel sick by just watching that vid. Crazy how fast this spreads. This guy is à swede, don't know him but he got à open fracture on his arm and third deegre burn on 70% of his back. Real nasty

Always wear à teather

And I have to say it, but the so called professionals in all the movies should be wearing one as well, but MOST of the time you will notice that don't. This should really be a basic safety do, kind of like carrying a shovel and backpack.

I could not agree with you more.

WRONG WRONG WRONG !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

After Shawn losing his arm and multiple stories of accidents... People still ride without tethers... Good thing his friend was there I can only imagine the feeling of bleeding out while I was being sawed in half.. JUST NOT RIGHT WEAR YOUR F ING TETHER !!!

Watch the Latest Schooled movie there are three close calls with the spinning track .. It is a matter of time before it catches one of them.

And the moral of the story is...always stick your landings.

Sucks for him but honestly don't have a lot of sympathy it. Ski-doo is one of the only sleds that comes stock with a tether, why wouldn't you wear it? Like stated above one of the first things I've done to all my sleds is put a tether on. Hopefully he learns from this along with everybody that watches this video.

don't worry, you wouldn't bleed out. The speed of the track creates enough friction to cauterize any wounds that it creates :face-icon-small-sho

Did not realize that it was a video, clicked it and that is not something I would like to see or be involved in.
