Need to long track mtn viper

You'll need a tunnel exxtension, some rail extensions, and a track. LOL. Lots of options there. I would recomend extrovert drivers and to re-gear. 19/40 and 21/42 are the most common.

Thanks for the tips. can you run a 2.25 " w 3.0 pitch and w/ which size drivers?

7T drivers. But no it will not fit without trimming the paddles a little. Still a good combo if you ask me. Gear it 20/42 that way you won't have to change the chain.

Depends how much work you want to do on the sled. I put on a tunnel with a rolled chaincase whic gave lots of room to run a 2 1/4" track.I'm pretty sure I ran 8 tooth avid drivers too.
I started with a 121 short track that had a bent tunnel, so the tunnel was needing to be replaced.Still have the tunnel and chaincase if you are interested.

LOng Track Kit

My 2004 MNT Viper has a 156" x 2" track and extention kit from Hartman. This was all done by the previous owner when the sled was new. 8 tooth Extroverts with 20/42 gearing.

The Hartman kit is a nice clean setup-small rail extensions and nice tunnel extension
