i finally have some extra cash to buy a new sled i was thing a 09 m-1000 or an m-8 with the 162. i see that the m 8 is cheaper but not to sure if it will have enough power for me. i weigh 245 poundes please let me know if im wrong

Why not wait and get the 2010 m8 with the new motor? Otherwise yes, the 1000 is a solid choice.

There's no replacement for displacement...go '09 M1K and get a 2010 seat. Then you've got a 2010 for cheap. Buy a Y-pipe and light can for under $300 and you'll run over anything else that's stock.

Go with the power, buy the m8 and youll dump the loot to get what you will out of the m1000. I battled last spring when i ordered my 09 M1K. Now I am sure glad I did. And if it ever gets boost holy FAWK!!

I would get the 1000 without a doubt. but make sure you get the 162. As big as you are a 153 will not have enough floatation and trench like crazy.

Get the 1000 replace the skid or at the very least replace the middle and rear shock with Zbroz's. Unless your going to turbo the 8 it will lack the jam for a guys our size.
