Turn your choke on and see if it helps.
My buddies 07 has a 50 pilot. It was doing the same thing but it would go away with the choke on.
He put a 55 pilot in and it helped but hasn't cleaned it up completely yet. Going to try a 60 and see if that does the trick.

My friend had a bent crank which caused the timing to be off and it did the same thing.

On your friends 600 HO IQ did he notice it thru mid range to top end or just the bottom end???? Mine is all on the bottom end

Thanks turbo lover what elevation do you ride that bigger pilot at we here are 8,000 to 10,000 i run the 35 piolot i will try the 50 and 55 did the choke trick and it made no change
