I have an 05 800 summit...i had it into my dealer for a preseason checkup, they told me i needed to replace the reed boots on it, so instead of paying them to do it, i did it myself. But ever since then i get this sort of "cruise control" throttle sticking feeling right at about 35 mph or about 5000rpm. I've done numerous searches on here, most say its suckin air somewhere, most of time the reed boots need changed, but i just did that?! any other suggestions? the dealer replaced all three rollers on my stock primary clutch if they makes a difference...

make sure the gasket seated good between the reeds and the cylinders and make sure the bolts are all tight as well. check the tighness on the clamps for the carbs. and also make sure your y pipe isnt too loose. and i had the same problem and checked everything and i tightened the bolts to the reeds and cleaned out my rollers and it stopped. so not sure if it was the air leak or the rollers sticking. good luck
