Need some help w\rear suspesion

Noob, I was pretty frustrated with this thing when I wrote that and apologize and deleted it. This thing is still way too tight for my comfort level. Hopefully this Camo looses up.

did you get it installed??

Dunno if you've done it yet, but once you air it up (ALL WIEGHT OFF TRACK!) to operating pressure, the track will loosen considerably as well.

I'm 1/4" - 1/2" from the axle coming through the other side with a couple levers on it. As soon as I can get a neighbor over I'll get it tapped through.

I just read this thread u have been given the answer a couple of times. Your doing it in the wrong order take the skid out first then put wheels on, front bolts first rear last. Moto already told u this. If your not gonna listen then don't ask. Sorry to be so blunt but this is the way your just doing it a$$ backwards

There must be something wrong with your track. It should go write in and always install the suspension with the axle installed. If it does not fit then there is something wrong. if you do get it in there and the track is super tight it's just going to cause other problems like bend the rear arm. Do NOT force it.

The first thing I tried was just as you've said. I had the axle and two center rear idlers in. The front upper arm would get almost to the inner tunnel re-inforcement but about 1"-1.5" from the mounting hole. I tried it with the sled on its side and with tunnel hoisted up and a floor jack under the track.

Do you have TS's install instructions?

I found it was way easier to hang the tunnel, then let down the tunnel as needed - with track on floor.

No matter how you try to install it I still think there is something wrong it should go in easy. try to measure your track

no one has said anything about the adjusters being on the wrong side of the rails. they need to be inside, the bolt adjuster sits behind a track window. wonder if the bolts hitting the outer edge dont have you twisted uP.

the bolt adjustors won't stop the skid from fitting. you just can't adjust the track after it's on through the windows.

I told Mike in one of my emails that I had the exact same thing happen when Darryl at racer's edge was installing stock apex rails with my stock nytro skid and his coupled suspension. he was cussing yamaha because of the amount of adjustment that yamaha doesn't have. we had to switch the rear wheels out for smaller wheels to make it fit. we could not get the 8" wheels in there. the track was very tight, but it will loosen up.

This exact same suspension (timbersled) fit into my nytro without a hitch. It wasn't tight like my racer's edge setup.

I'm using a Polaris axle and spacers for the two idler wheels between the rails from an XCSP with four idlers. The only reason I didn't use the Poo forward outer tensioners is that the rails where drilled for the Yamaha's and the holes didn't over lapped. The Yamaha adjusters are going on the outside of the rails with cut down Yamaha spacers and the outer wheels. I'll have to take the two outer wheels off to tension the track but that's just the way it worked out.

sorry it worked out that way Mike. I didn't expect you to run into any of these problems. I do know when I had it on my sled that I used a stock(smaller wheel) on the inside and 8" billet on the outside wheels. I only used 3 wheels and not 4. it was probably in the middle to 3/4 of the adjustment space. keep me posted.
