Need some help changing a track

Hey guys, im gonna change my track on my 2003 pro x 440 liquid, im guessing you have to take off the driveshaft and slide the track into place then put the driveshaft back on, i dont know if thats right, if it is i need some directions on how to do it. just need someone to give me some directions on how to change my track, thanks!:face-icon-small-ton

Yes you are correct. Drop your skid, open your chaincase, un bolt your drive shaft, slide shaft out.

Rest up the day before you attempt it.
Allow 6 hours.
Drink a lot of water before starting.
Get rope because you will be needing it.
Fitting the track over the loose drive sprocket, is the easy part.
Some people will tell you to change out both drive shaft bearings and chain case seals because you won't be getting another chance to change them for some time. Of course if you only have 1000 miles on it, don't bother.
The tough part is fitting the rail assembly back inside the track, that wants to take on a shape of it's own.
A quick prayer before you start, won't hurt either.
