need paint on hood , panels

Do it yourself using Krylon Fusion, unless your talking a custom paint job.

I have a buddy in wasilla that does some painting on the side. The price varies greatly depending on the type and color of the paint. But his labor costs would be low and he is fast.
We took my roomates XP summit outthere last weekend, removed and painted the panels in under 5 hrs.

get what you pay for, i see a lot of revs/xps with paint peeling off... it's all in the prep.

mtnsld did my Rev and Nytro and both turned out great. Haven't tried to destroy the Nytro paint job yet but the Rev held up great.

All Basf Diamont products.
Acrylic urethane primer with flex agent , Polyester basecoat , Acrylic urethane clearcoat with flex agent .Also don't forget adhesion promoter for any bare plastic spots . Maybe next time I fix a hood for somebody , I'll do a step by step with photos .

i did this all with krylon fusion.. seems like its gunna hold up just fine. just do a lot of light coats and then put a clear coat on top. View attachment 84042
