Bought a used 08 d7 and the skis and carbides are SHOT! I have never ran anything but stock skis on my sleds and now with the need to purchase skis am wondering what people think of the slp pros, the slydogs, powderhounds, simmons, or if i ought to just keep looking for a take-off set of grippers that came stock?? Need help!!!! All input greatly apprieciated!

Buy someone's Gripper take offs, they work awesome and you might as well get a deal out of it.

ok well being that i have never rode on either ski since my previous sled had Sidehiller 2s on it what makes either the gripper or the powder pro better? and thanks tahoermk, Blackzed, HUNDO, AND BugIto

I am a fan of the Grippers as well. I actually have a BRAND NEW never used single SLP Powder Pro.

How bad are your Grippers? Photos? As long as they are not destroyed I would trade you for the grippers.

well im no expert but im pretty sure the guy darn near destroyed them, the carbides are wore completely gone and the plastic that you bolt the carbides to (like throught the top of the ski) is completely gone so you couldn't really even bolt new carbides on which is why i was looking to get new skis. if your still interested after that description i will post some pics
