need new shocks for 02 RMK, cheap

So my buds son's 02 RMK 700 is in need of a new shock. I need to know what will work for it, we wanted to get the Ryde FX 8200 series for it, but they don't list the ski shock for this sled. Anybody have any ideas on what we can use? Spending 200 bucks for a stock replacement isn't in the cards.

Any Edge RMK front shocks will work. There are several options out there from the standard oil/gas non-rebuildables to full on Fox or Walker Evans.

I would check a couple of the used snowmobile part places like Emerson's

in Duluth. Or look on e-Bay as there are always Edge style RMK shocks for sale.

Make sure you know your center to center distance fully extended.
