check your intercooler i went through three of them. all three of them broke right where the main throttle body part meets with the cooling fins. not weldable because it was in the middle. also changed boost controller which made me able to adjust boost. and about the unplugging boost controller if you un plug the line that comes off of the wastegate and plug it off that will give you maximum boost. i would check intercooler forsure because dave said that they have been having problems with them.

After wasting a ton of time going through the whole system, I changed the controller out to a turbosmart manual, wow, almost broke the needle off the gauge!!. . Workin like it should now

that's funny i was going to tell you change the crapy boost controller that came with the pl kit to the turbo smart. I just changed mine and want a differents it works like it should. the pl kit should come with the turbosmart controller that would be SMART
