Need info on EGT guages

Looking to get a set for my TM8 and had a few questions.

Digitron or Koso?

Anyone had luck with the clamp on style?

Do I need the fast reacting probes or are the standard ones ok?

I don't need data logging or any other extras, just straight up temp readings. Is there anything else I should know or look into? Anyone have a set for sale?

koso...fast probe...weld in bungs....clamp on's suck

I have KOSO.

I had ok luck with clampons.

Get the fast react probes the standard are SLOW.

Koso, fast reacting no issues with clamp on but only one season so far.

Awesome, thanks guys. Looks like I'm going with the Koso's. I like the smaller guage package and the way the display turns to red, easy to catch the eye.

yeah doing one this season, ran a homebrew propane 4 stroke for 1.5 seasons and have done some 2 stroke propane stuff for fun and now building a full time one for myself.

That's wicked. Do you find the AUTO fill stations are going the way of the dinosaur? That's my only concern. Loving the propane though!
