Need Help With TPS Setting On PCV and CEL

I have a 2009 Assault 800 and I am new to using the PCV.

I wanted to calibrate the tps using the PCV and I can't get a sensor voltage reading or throttle % reading. I tried with the engine running and also hooked up to a 12v battery.

The Power Commander software on my computer is the version 1.0.3.3 and the firmware is the 0.1.4.0 version.

I hook my cumputer to the PCV
-power the PCV with the 12v battery
-click on the Power Commander Tools header
-then calibrate TPS.

With the throttle at idle there is no sensor voltage. I hit the reset button and the go wot and still no voltage reading.

I checked the connection at the TPS and that is good, tried another TPS and still nothing.

I was out riding the other day and the check engine light was on for almost the whole ride. It was flashing 5 times. I found that this is a flash code for the exhuast sensor. I checked the connections for the sensor and unplugged it, then plugged it back together and the light was still coming on. I pulled a sensor from another sled and installed it in my machine and the light went out. I then installed the original sensor and the light is out now.

If your not getting a reading when the sled is running (and the sled has been ok before) then you likely have a puter problem or a pcv problem.
Check with the sled running just to eliminate going through the battery hookup diagnosis.
If the puter screen shows the pcv is connected and you have rpm reading then try re updating the firmware again. I had one that took three tries at update before it worked. Had the same problem as your having.

I reflashed the firmware and now it is reading the throttle position.
Thanks for the help
