I am helping a friend with his summit, and we are having some issues that I can't quite figure out...
Cleaned carbs, pulled airbox, put sled back together, and she fires right up, but immediately hits full throttle....!
Checked the throttle cable, and it's moving freely, also the bolt where the cable attatches moves freely, but what does the bolt attatch to on the back of the cylinders???
Is something possibly sheared off inside, causing the throttle to stick wide open?
I have done a lot of work on cats,...but not too familiar with the Doo's . Any help is greatly appreciated.
Also, do I need any special tools to get the drive clutch(front) off the doo?
Thanks again,

Thanks winter!
The carb boots appear to be ok...but the high alt.comp. boot is pretty much trashed! Would that cause my problem? The slides appear to be down all the way...and the throttle moves freely.
Thanks for your help
Steve
