Need help with 08 D8 (check engine)

Had the update done 200 miles ago since then everytime i keep it on the trail it over heats terrible and i can smell my belt burning. I get off and its just fine. Had it reflashed and it doesnt seem to matter at all. Thinking of a pc5 and a slp pipe. What should i do????

Sounds like you need scratchers to cool the motor and prevent your hyfax from melting.

X2 No idler wheels on the RMK's and no snow for cooling is more than likely the problem.

Just got done puttin a new belt on and a set of ice scratchers i got with it..... Do you guys think its worth it to get the power commander and pipe or should i leave it stock. I also heard if i put the wiesco pistons in it then it wont burn down like the stock ones????

PC5 is going to be recommended by most.....as for the pipe, I think the most durability comes from leaving that stock.

Seriously considering going with P.M.S ' s Fix they seem to have alot of faith in it which is about 100 percent better then anything else i have found about it.
