Need help or ideas for hood pins on 07 Rev

I had a chance encounter with a tree and broke the plastic slides on the under
side of hood, where the retaining pins clip in. (that hold hood shut)
The rest of the hood is undamaged, does anyone have a good ideas for a clean fix?

if i understand what you are talking about, couldnt you get new pins and glue them in the correct position

Get a set of hood pins from the '07 XRS. they attach with a screw through the hood, you just need to drill a hole in the right spot.
