i rented a cabin at the mountain lodge for the 2nd week of feb half my group bailed on me I have four spots to fill to make a total of six but if i only found 2 more people to go that would help a lot I hope someone can help a cabin with only 2 people is'nt really cost effective so if anyone is intrested please e mail me at bubtjones@yahoo.com thanks a lot

If your talking about the cabins at togwotee mountain lodge be happy 4 out of 6 guys backed out. IMO the cabins are barely big enough for 4 guys and gear. We've done a 5 guy trip 2 in one cabin 3 in another. Cant beat having your own bed when riding. Good luck
Sorry about your luck, hope you find some guys to fill in, but agree w/redman. I dont know how they figure 6 grown men and gear would work in there. We did 4 a couple yrs ago and wont make that mistake again.
Since its not til feb maybe you could get it changed to a lodge room, they should be a bit cheaper..
Their is plenty of room for 5 or 6 to a cabin, try growing up with 12 brothers and sisters, then you will know what crowded is.

We are talking Adults here- you can stack kids anywhere...Ya need x-tra room to move around after sledding all day.
Them cabins are made for 4 grown only..period!!!!

so what are you guys saying we made a big mistake as we are heading to Tog and this will be the first time in a cabin and we have 4 guys. we are thinking about bringing a air bed instead of the pull out couch and a cot for the 4th guy in the living room are you saying that wont fit? maybe one then on couch and one on the cot will that fit?

Cant help you out people wise, but on a side note take this with a grain of salt... Spent multiple years reserving spots in Jackson for the hillclimbs and then taking the hit after 50-70% of the group flakes out last minute. Past couple years we ask early whos going, reserve the room(s), get the money upfront and get everything paid. Made my life WAY easier knowing I didn't have to worry who bothered showing up or not. I know I'll be there every year and if I have extra spots from that, just ask someone else to go with me. Good luck

thats how I do it I fill my truck and my room first then tell everyone else were we will be and were we are staying -- come if you like anything more than that turns into a headache
ther always someone that dont like the dates were we are staying who we are riding with and so onback to the thread
so 2 guys in the room and the one guy on pull out couch then you guys are saying ther is enuff room for a air bed in the cabin "queen"? for the 4th guy
thats a tight fit with the air bed.
Maybe if you move the table and chairs around you could make it work.
