Need help getting rid of snakes in yard

I would rather have fire ants in my pee pee hole than his picture anywhere in my house!

(Quit thinking about it, you don't need a mental visual of that)

I have a few pictures similar to what you described, no need to mentally visualize.

Edit: Picture I was thinking of involved earwigs, not fire ants.

Back on topic, why do you want the garter snakes gone? They're good snakes...

Pot-belly pigs eat snakes....

Stick a garden hose in a hole, flood hole and wait for snakes to come out. Stand by with shovel, rake, bat, or any blunt (or sharp) instrument of your choice, begin smashing, cutting, slicing, chopping, etc. Keep going hole to hole until snakes stop coming out. Problem solved. Buy some beer and invite over some friends with a lot of pent up aggression. This method also works on gophers. Also, the snakes may not come out the hole you've flooded. They usually have another entrance to the den.

Actually, you don't even have to flood it with water. Just run a garden hose down the hole, put a bottle cap full of gasoline in it, and blow. The fumes will force them out in a quick hurry. This is how those snake wranglers that catch snakes to milk their venom get them out of their dens.
