NEED HELP D8 Problem

Have a '08 800 Dragon.....riding last night when the lights flickered then shut down....now when I pull on it to start it, it runs for a second then dies....does this repeatedly.......Any ideas?

sounds like something with the tps it happened to mine i had to take it to dealer. warenty covered it

Mine did the same last year when the voltage regulator went. Common issue with these sleds.

I agree...sounds like the TPS. But that seems extreme, when it happened to my D7 it would flicker but a tap on the throttle would make everything fine. That leads me to wonder about the voltage regulator.

I vote for the VR. When my TPS got out of wack the sled would still run, just ran like crap. Do Polaris voltage regulators come from China???????????

had one do this last yr, short in the harness under the airbox, mine had rubbed wires at the ecu, the short took out the vr
