Need Help 2003 Summit 600 non rev

got a 600 summit that will just out of the blue while riding will drop down to an idle for a breif second and beep couple times then back up to reguler rpms as per throttle. can ride sometimes for a hour before it does it other times it does it in 15 min. doesnt normally stall machine. and ideas???????????? help me!!!!!!!!!!!!

Does it drop to an idle or will it cut down to 3000 rpm? Does it give you two short beeps when it comes back alive?

Sounds to me like a DESS system problem; either key, post or MPEM.
Have dealer program a spare key for you and see if that fixes the problem.
Check the wiring connection under the dash that goes to the DESS post, have seen corrosion and loose pins cause weird problems.
