Need Gold Creek advise

I am thinking of taking my wife to Gold Creek this weekend as the Baker avy conditions are a bit much. Is the Gold Creek area a better or wiser choice?

Sorta but still bad. Go golfing or something.

If you are going to go then Gold Creek has more places to ride that are safer than Baker. But it also has several areas that are just as dangerous.

I did see someone trigger a small avy at Gold Creek on a steep face the other warm Sat we had. The snow flowed like mud and it went farther than I thought it would.

The bowls on the backside had slid as well.

Golfing may be a better choice. The problem is that I don't golf. I would if I could drag race my sled down the fairway.
