Need Brake Help

So we went out riding the other day and got about 2 miles from the truck and my wife's brakes locked up. Also, when you squeezed the brake lever it went all the way down and did not stop like any hydraulic fluid was getting to the caliper from the master cylinder. I took the caliper apart and cleaned it out. I took the master cylinder apart and cleaned it, put it all back together and it still will not pull hydraulic fluid in. Anyone have any suggestions? I want to go riding this weekend!!!!

i think your compensating port in master cylinder is being blocked....if its not foriegn material then its swollen cup on plunger usually caused by water or oil in brake fluid..possibly plunger to lever adjustment as well..not fully realeasing therefor port not opening to allow fluid either way

I just took the master cylinder off and it is not blocked. I took the plunger out and how do I tell if it is a swollen cup? How do I repair it? Could it be the spring has gotten weak on the plunger? They do not make a rebuild kit for this which means I will have to buy a $200 replacement. Suck. Any recommendations???

Not saying something is not wrong...but it takes a long time sqeezing and releasing the brake when all the lines are empty...maybe five minutes of cycling sometimes before it remotely feels like something is happening. Maybe it was just moisture over the summer.
