i just picked up a 07 summit x 159,i rode it twice and it does not want to turn,i think i should tighten limit strap,and the springs are set at the stiffest setting,front shocks at 1,ive heard the cranks break,clutching issues.the motor was replace w/08 upgrade long block.500 miles on the new mill.the clutch feels right,jumps to 8500 and holds 8200 on the flats on clicker 3, it is running a little fat leaves black marks in the snow any help with the new toy is appreciated.are the carbs as easy to rejett as 01 are? gold creek and stampede for the altitude question.

Loosen limiter straps to pull weight off the front end. I usually set mine so when you lift the rear of the sled the track comes off the ground uniformly. (the rear shouldn't touch first, nor should the front of the rear skid when you set it down). A 159 will push harder when turning than a sled with a shorter track so you just have to find a happy medium.

They're kind of a pain to rejet. Not as easy as your 01 but you can handle it.

thanks ill try that.thought i would need more ski psi cause the skis turn real easy but the sled wont follow,my other sleds turn easier 01-151 mod / 08 xp154,

Tighten limiter ....or....less pressure on front skid spring.....or....more pressure on rear springs to put more weight on the skis.
Leave stock jetting, DPM handles the rest :beer;

misread that. winter brew is right but don't suck them up too tight or it will want to dive hard in the loose stuff and won't ride the best. Loosen up the front shock on the rear skid.
