Need Advice On Buying Used Parts

I am thinking of buying a tunnel, rear skid and track from a fellow snowmobiler on Snowest. He lives several states away, so the parts will need to be shipped, any suggestions on how to pay and make sure I get what I am suppose to, the gentleman has been on snowest quite awhile but it is alot of money, MADDOGWFO

there are no guarantees, but if you pay with a credit card you have a little recourse. or send a fellow snowester that is in the area to check it out for you. everybody i've dealt with on snowest has been very honest. but like with everything there are the bad ones.

bought a used clutch from a guy on snowest and hes from washington. no problem!
bought a very good used 144 track from a guy on snowest and hes abt 70 to 80 miles away from my home. met him in person.
sold a 136 track to a guy in colorado
sold a windowsheild to a guy in canada

never had any problems at all but i delayed alot of time because of busy with farming.

dan, between me and my buds, we have bought 3 sleds, many clutches, and other parts.....one almost bad expierience, but the guy made it right after I called him on it....so 25-30 deals and they all were satisfactory. as for shipping, which state is it coming from? I was gonna grab a running King cat from utah, last year it was gonna cost me $500.00
