Need advice on a 07 M1000

Hi, i just bought a 07 Arctic cat M1000 162 with 2400 miles and I was wondering if there is anything I should know about the motor or should watch out for? Thnks Daniel

Here's a check list:

Diamond drive
Motor mounts
Throttle body boot possible gaps
Clean power valves and check cable adjustment
Exhaust springs and graphites
Brake side drive shaft bearings
Rebuild all shocks

Finally! Keep an eye out for a backup motor!

also, and to me this is the most important, check piston skirts. at 2400 there's a good chance there's minor cracking, but even if there's not, I'd slap a new set of pistons in, easy & cheap, under $200.

Is it stock, any mods will change things in a big way

It does not have any mods on it minus new motor mounts and 09 rear skid and suspension. Is there anything i can do to bullet proof the motor like different crank and piston or anything? Thanks Daniel
