2001 summit 800, dpm, no reverse. what sleds can i take mpem's out of?

Here's one way to find out if nobody knows (requires a little reading):

Go to the BRP parts website at http://12.2.215.22/pub/default.asp?SessionId=e13baa00a8d545a28cbe8d58c1f140e0&Lang=EN&brands=SKIDOO

If it asks you for an email address, you don't have to put one in, you can just un-check the box.

Hit "GO" next to the Ski-Doo drop-down, find your year & model. Sometimes the MPEM seems to be listed in different places, on the 2001 it's listed under "Ignition", which is logical. I believe your part # is 512059360, you may want to double check (it's called a "Calibration Module".

I'd just check some adjacent years to see if they're the same.

i managed to find out that brp changed their part numbers. what i have is 512059382, the website has it listed as 512059360. every mpem from that year summit or mxz (6,7,800) has a different part number. buying a new one from the dealer isnt an option (500$+) but i have no way of finding out which other ones will work. anyone have any idea? can i take one out of a 800 mxz as long as it has the dpm?

Looks like the part number for your MPEM is 512059360 Cyclepartsnation lists it for $385. Looks like an 01 MPEM is your only choice . . 02 models list a different part number, and RER models show a different number again.

sorry, thats the new part number i found too.
anyone know if i can take one off a mxz twin 800 with dpm???? its a different number but it should be the same??
