I tell my girl to leave me alone while I am sick. I will get over it and I usually can take care of myself. I don't like her being around because they she runs the risk of getting sick then I have to deal with her.

Tell dude to quit being a ***** and get some rest. Then when he is well, give up the *** for him.

He will sleep like a baby for 20 hours and all the booze will kick any virus in the butt. Be all better and ready to go again, no more laying around on the couch.
