Narrow Stance Conversion Worth $450?

I didn't realize that the $200 deal was only going until the end of Jan or so. In anycase, folks sell the kit for about $390 now. With shipping or tax, and the cost of putting the spacers in, that puts it around $450 to do the conversion.

Is it actually worth it? That's pushing 5% of the sleds value...

I'm thinking it might be better to just wait until end of season next year and find used parts to do it peicemail.

I would ride one with it and compare to yours. Some love it, some say not worth the money. If you do it, just sell your stock front end, you could probably recoup a lot of the cost.

On the fence with the conversion also... Thinking of trying the rear suspension drop (its free) and keeping the wider stance for another year. Still do a lot of riding in Michigan and not sure if I want to tip over in every corner when I have to ride a trail. When I rode out west the sled really fought me to get it to tip up until I tightened the limiter strap all the way up and let out the front spring ride loose. Just wondering if the narrower stance increases the ability to roll the sled from side to side? I am already running the gen 3's.

I think it is worth it too. Did that and increased the steering swing and it completely changed the attitude of the sled. Sucks that AC raised the price, seems totally unfair to me. Check with Eric at Racinstation and see what he's got there for kits.

How much is the stock 40 inch a arms worth used? I can't imagine the top ones are worth anything, and the bottom ones are maybe $50 a peice? Still going to be $350.

White, not bent. They do have scratches and scuffs from using trees for traction.

Have I been living in a cave? How did I miss that? What happened to "let stick it to the man"?

Ive been thinking of selling out too. Ever since the proclimb section went private after 75. :focus:

I really would like to buy a set of used 40" white stockers.

Don`t worry about getting rid of the 40". Lot's of guys will want a wide front end next year. It's just human nature.

When they released the accessory catalog and the new prices at the dealer show. I had my dealer confirm the $199.00 price and then ordered a extra set, when they arrived they charged my dealer the updated price.
Cat got the set back.

there priceless to someone who just hit a tree.lol.100 upper 125 lower. the 38 mod is well worth it if you want to make it better at sidehilling and downhill carves.

In Sweden still 1760 + tax (260 us $) for a couple, I had to buy today, you never know if they raise the price.
