Narrow stance and spindle spacers???

Is anyone running narrow a-arms on their '08/'09 XP's w/ spindle spacers or the '10 or '11 steering post? Rode a 2011 etec and it felt like it had powersteering and by far the easiest sled to sidehill I've ever ridden--including the new Pro--probably just what I'm used to but, just want to see if others have tried this. Don't have any complaints about my sleds handling, but the '11 is quite an improvement.

I realize the '11 shocks are shorter, so opinions on how that would factor also. Thanks
